Choose any document from your account to analyze its complete writing history.
Review the complete revision history to see how the writing process unfolded over time.
View every change word by word, with each edit clearly highlighted for easy tracing.
Existing detectors try to predict if text "looks" AI-generated. We believe such predictions are not accurate enough and most of the time lead to wrong results.
Turingo doesn't use model-based predictions that guess from the final text. Instead, we analyze the document's revision history to detect suspicious writing patterns that you can easily inspect and verify yourself.
Watch how your document was written, word by word, at your own pace. Any detected AI writing patterns are highlighted at all times so you can see exactly what was added, by whom, and when.

Turingo is a fully automated document analysis platform that detects AI-generated content in Google Docs and Microsoft Word documents by analyzing document revision history to identify when and how AI writing was used during the writing process. The end result is a report in form of a document history that can be replayed in video-like fashion. The provided report highlights every AI-generated edit and shows how it was modified by authors over time.
Turingo was designed with educators and educational institutions in mind. However, it can also be used by students and article authors for self-reflection on their writing process, as well as by academic journal editorial teams who need transparent, process-based insight into how texts are created.
Turingo analyzes the revision history of the selected Google Docs or Microsoft Word document using algorithms that detect suspicious content insertions (copy-paste) and general editing behavior. This allows us to examine how the document was edited over time, from both content, structure and style perspectives.
Turingo supports Google Docs documents on all plans, and Microsoft Word documents on the Enterprise plan (see
below). To analyze a document, you need editing access to it so we can read its revision history.
Uploaded documents cannot be processed because they do not retain a revision history. This includes files
added to Google Drive that were not created as Google Docs, and Word files that were not shared through your
institutional workspace. Turingo will notify you if you try to analyze such a document.
Microsoft Word documents are supported on the Enterprise plan. Only Word documents shared with you by your institution can be scanned. Uploaded files are not supported, as their revision history is not preserved.
Turingo supports documents in multiple languages as the algorithms used for analysis are not language-specific. You can
analyze documents written in English, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, and dozens of other languages.
Please let us know at support@turingo.net if you need support for a specific language.
Yes, Turingo offers a free 7-day trial period with a limited analysis quota. During the trial, you will have full access to the features provided by the Premium plan allowing you to analyze documents and explore the AI content detection capabilities of the platform.
Your privacy and data security are our top priorities. Turingo processes only the revision history of the documents you
explicitly select for analysis. We do not store the full content of your documents. All data processing follows strict security
protocols.
