  • Is the revision history player really free?

    Yes. You get five free replays per day without a Turingo account or credit card. Detailed analysis requires registration.

  • How is my replay data processed?

    Your browser loads the selected document's revision data from Google, and Turingo securely processes the revision data. All related data, including selected document's revision history and generated replay results, is removed from storage within 24 hours. Operational metadata, such as your account email, is retained indefinitely for quota enforcement and service operation.

  • What permissions does the tool need, and why is edit access required?

    Google only exposes the detailed revision history to editors, so a document you can merely view cannot be replayed.

  • Does it work without Chrome?

    Yes. Unlike the Draftback and GPTZero Chrome extensions, the player is a regular web page. It works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and any other modern browser, with nothing to install.

  • How is this different from Turingo's paid analysis?

    The free player shows you the writing process and warns you about suspicious edits. Detailed analysis requires registration and provides a list of found AI-generated passages, and unusual writing patterns you can inspect quickly, then produce a report you can share.
